Streaming On Demand
On August 15 1969, five hundred thousand music lovers descended on a rural community in upstate New York for three days of love, peace, respect, drugs, mind expansion and the largest rock concert ever staged.
Mixing anti-war sentiment with life changing music, and drugs with free love, Woodstock was a reflection of the Cultural Revolution in the western world. For those of us that were there, and for those who can only wish we were, this three part film is the definitive celebration of a definitive music event. Fifty years later Woodstock is still a resounding influence seen in popular music culture worldwide.
